This PHR Stage III Pro crank motor came to life with the help of Mike's ace mechanic Jimmy, and the inspiration and encouragement from Ron. This is truly Mike's dream come true. Ron would be very proud of you Mike

1975 H-1 - 'Phoenix Project'
Don't choose out this one at a stop light!

This gorgeous 1975 H-1, with one of PHR's Pro Street very ass nastyH-2 motors, is owned by Officer Tim Steele. Built after an act of nature destroyed Tim's previous bikes, many good friends kicked in support, parts, and you name it, to enable Tim and his wife Cindy to create a new tribute to the memories that were lost in the past fire.

From the paint work and detail to the absolute perfection of assembly, this is one bike I really respect! Tim's military leadership, charisma, and engineering expertise made it a blessing for Tim and I to design and discuss the motor. The motor is built to technologies edge with 100% docility and manners. Tim's 100% loyalty to PHR and his hours of efforts in "R&D-ing" the motor has earned him the title of PHR's East Coast R&D Associate.

When Tim Talks the Talk, he has already Walked the Walk. Congratulations to Tim, Cindy, and all you great guys associated with making this H-1 'Sleeper' happen for them!

PS: I told Tim if PHR's Pro Rider and IDBA 2004 Champion Parry Kourlas had one afternoon on the track with the Phoenix, I would bet on ten 10-second ET's at 128 MPH ... plus change. Tim and I have snuck weight off the bike that people don't even realize! As big as Tim is, we had to ... just kiddin' Tim!
